EXPECTATION CLASS is held every 2nd and 3rd Sunday at

OUTREACH DAY: The Potomac River
Baptist Association Community Outreach Day will be held on Saturday, October
15, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the Nanjemoy Land on Friendship
Landing Road. There
will be food distribution, hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks, singing, and
inspirational messages.
BREAST CANCER
AWARENESS: We will be sponsoring a
short presentation about Breast Cancer Awareness immediately following the
morning service on October 16. All members are encouraged to wear
pink to show your support.

OPERATION
CHRISTMAS CHILD: Oak Grove is
participating with Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child “Missions with
a Shoebox” to spread the Gospel through the world with Christmas gifts for
children. We are collecting donations of
NEW: bars of soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, washcloths, deodorant and other
toiletries, small toys and school supplies. The items must fit in a shoebox. Please remember, we cannot send liquids or any
toys associated with war. Our goal is to
prepare 30 shoeboxes. Please leave your
items and shoeboxes in the vestibule near the water fountain through November
